On a long day at the ghats, mobile networks get congested, batteries run flat and in a sea of people it's surprisingly easy to get separated from your group, especially with children or elderly parents. A small card answers the one question that matters in that moment: who are you and who should be called?
Battery. Signal. And someone who can unlock it. On a peak Snan day, any one of those can fail right when it matters most.
Nothing. A printed card in a pocket works with no battery and no signal. The lock-screen version shows your emergency contacts without anyone unlocking the phone. Where a phone fails, paper doesn't.

Because the card matters most exactly when your phone doesn't work, a dead battery, no signal in a crowd of crores or a phone that's been dropped or lost. A printed card in a pocket and a lock-screen image a stranger can see without unlocking your phone, both work when the technology fails. For children and elderly pilgrims especially, this is the single most useful thing you can carry. It's the same idea our crowd safety and family travel guides recommend, now made into a card.
Completely. Everything you type stays inside your own browser on your own device. We never receive it, store it or send it anywhere, there's no account, no upload and no tracking of what you enter. When you print or download, the file is yours alone. If you tick "remember on this device", the details are saved only in your browser's local storage and never leave your device; use "Forget" to clear them.
Tap "Download lock-screen image" to save a tall card image to your phone. Then open your phone's Settings → Wallpaper (or Lock screen), choose the saved image and set it as your lock screen. Your emergency contacts will then be visible to anyone who picks up your phone, without needing your passcode.
112 is India's single national emergency number, 100 reaches the police and 108 reaches an ambulance. Add the official Mela control-room helpline in the field provided once the authorities publish it for 2027 and it will appear on your card. Always follow on-the-ground instructions from the police and Mela staff. This card is an aid, not a substitute for official help or for medical advice.
For most pilgrims, yes, in an emergency it helps responders act faster. Share only what you're comfortable putting on a card you'll carry and keep your government ID separately.
