GSI to Survey Landslide-Prone Areas Ahead of Nashik Kumbh Mela 2027; Five Earthquake Monitoring Stations Planned
The Geological Survey of India (GSI) will survey landslide-prone areas in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar ahead of Kumbh Mela 2027. Authorities will also establish five earthquake monitoring stations to strengthen disaster preparedness and improve pilgrim safety during the monsoon pilgrimage.
